A Few Words About Me

 

Based out of my home in Raleigh, NC, I first started making natural candles in the summer of 2000.  I was amazed at how great they smelled and how long they lasted. I was especially surprised that I wasn’t getting any headaches from them as had been the case with most candles I had burned in the past. I began researching and learned all the disadvantages of paraffin candles versus the benefits of vegetable wax-based candles, and I was hooked! Finally, after several months of experimentation with scent, color, and design I attended my first crafts fair in October of 2000.  A Natural Selection Candle Company was born!  I have been making candles and attending crafts fairs throughout North Carolina ever since.
